Not Achieving Your Fitness Goals? Consider an Online Fitness Program

By Rachel Rays Gift

fitness

An online fitness program is an effective and affordable way to get in shape. Online fitness programs provide customized, expert advice on exercise and nutrition in a convenient, interactive, and dynamic environment. Video demonstrations, exercise instructions, guidance and support are all available at the click of a mouse.

Online fitness training is much less expensive than hiring a personal trainer, and a personal trainer can typically only offer advice related to his or her individual field of expertise. Most online fitness programs offer the advice of multiple experts in various fields of expertise. And online fitness programs are also frequently updated, providing you with the latest research and information in the health and fitness industry.

If you’re new to fitness, it’s oftentimes difficult to know where to begin, and designing your own fitness program can sometimes be frustrating and time consuming. An online fitness program can help you eliminate unnecessary time and confusion by providing you with the most effective and enjoyable methods for achieving the exact results you want. And the more effective and enjoyable your fitness program is, the more likely you’ll be to stick with it for the long term.

There are a lot of online fitness programs on the market, so how can you tell the good ones from the not so good ones? Here are five key features that a good online fitness program will offer:

1. A fitness program that is customized to your individual needs and goals, not a one-size-fits-all program. The program should include a personalized nutrition plan and a personalized exercise plan.

2. Your own online personal fitness trainer who will oversee your progress over the entire program.

3. Access to multiple experts in various fields of expertise who can provide you with any information or advice that you may need.

4. Instructional videos and materials.

5. A 100% money-back guarantee.

If you’ve been struggling to lose weight or to get more fit and healthy, an online fitness program might be just what you need.

What you Should Eat During your Fitness Program

By Rachel Rays Gift

fitness

You can go for an extended fitness program and lift heavy weights and run kilometers without stopping for a break but you may still not find yourself any closer to your goals. There may be nothing wrong with your fitness program. Your problem might have something to do with your diet. How is diet related to fitness and what is the right kind of diet for a fitness buff?

Right Diet

Aside from your fitness routine, you should also eat the right kinds of food. The proper diet will not only support your fitness program but will also keep you out of common health dangers like dehydration and fatigue as you pursue a rigorous fitness training program. A good fitness coach should be able to properly instruct you about the right diet.

Conditions

It is wrong to assume that the same diet will work for everyone on a fitness program. You may have special health conditions that also require a special diet for you. In this case, you should consult a diet and fitness expert to determine the right fitness diet for you.

Your diet will also depend on your fitness goal. Some people, for example, are comfortable being just generally fit. Fitness in this context may mean that you can be fit by being physically active without being thin and muscular. There are however, some people whose fitness goal is to be more muscular. In this case, one would need to eat foods with more protein than carbohydrates. A protein-rich diet combined with a thorough aerobics and muscle fitness regimen will give you the muscled look.

Food to Eat

It is wrong to assume that fitness buffs who are out to lose a lot of pounds should not eat bread and pasta. On the contrary, these kinds of food are primary sources of carbohydrates which people on a fitness program need as a source of energy to burn. People who are on a fitness program are generally much like active kids. Cut your carbohydrate intake and you will most likely lack the energy to complete your fitness regimen. It is important however to choose carbohydrate foods that are whole grained over white bread and pasta. You should therefore eat whole wheat bread and cereals.

Aside from carbohydrate rich foods, you should also stock up on food containing protein like fresh fish and lean meat as part of your fitness plan. Protein can help repair and strengthen your muscles. Drink lots of water too and hydrate your body with fruits and vegetables which are also good sources of water, vitamins and minerals.

Foods to Avoid

Even if you were not in a fitness program, you should avoid processed meat like canned beef and fish and smoked meat. These may contain preservatives and may not necessarily be made from the best lean meat parts. You should also try to avoid pork meat and meat skin since these are great sources of fat. While on fitness training, you should keep away from sugary beverages to prevent dehydration.

Don’t be Like the Rest - Pick the Only Way to Get Fit Fast

By Rachel Rays Gift

fitness

I want to share with you just how I have been successful in achieving outstanding results with fitness and fat loss with my clients for many years without any fad exercise gadgets or crazy diets. If you really want to find out the only true way to ‘Get Fit Fast’ then read on and I will tell you precisely how to do it, here and now.

First things first, the most important thing you must do to ensure you get fit as fast as you can is to be clear about exactly what you want to get fit for. You must a have a visibly clear goal as to where you want to be. You must remain focused and determined to succeed. How can you expect to get fit if you have no idea where you are heading?

If I ask you this question, it might help you to realize that getting fit fast really does depend on what your own interpretation of fitness is. Do you think you would get fit faster if your goal was to be able to climb 10 flights of stairs without stopping compared with climbing K2, the world’s second highest mountain? Of course you would. The task of climbing 10 flights of stairs is much less of a challenge than climbing K2; therefore if you where training to climb mount K2, you would reach and overtake the desired fitness level to climb the stairs well before you are ready to tackle one of the highest and arguably the most dangerous mountain in the world. Hopefully this has made you realize that ‘fitness’ is an extremely broad term and people must understand that in order to ‘Get Fit Fast’ they must be very specific about what it is they want to achieve.

So back to the original question, How to Get Fit Fast depends greatly up on your current level of base fitness and the desired goal ahead. The next thing to think about is the relevancy of your training. The example above gives two similar goals, in respect that they both involve climbing of sorts. One much more technical and challenging than the other, but the training would be some what similar to start with.

Let’s look at another example; if you compare a Power Lifter with a long distance runner, initially you would say that both are fit. This is correct to say that both are fit for their respective sporting disciplines, however if both were to swap roles, you could say that both would struggle to perform well at each others sports.

These are classic examples of people who are fit for what they do. The training path to reach the desired level of fitness for each sport is completely different. So you need to make sure that the training you do to improve your fitness is relevant to your final goal, otherwise you will never get there.

Take it from me you have to have a very good level of base fitness to succeed at either of these sports. Most people’s idea of a base level of fitness is to enable them to cope with the stresses and strains of their daily lifestyle. This might include, tending the garden, leisure walking, running for the bus and playing with the kids.

To get fit as fast as you can follow these 7 simple steps;

1. Assess where you’re at;

Ask you’re self why you want to get fit. Most people decide to get fit for one of 3 reasons;

a) Improve physical appearance

b) Health reasons or quality of life

c) For a particular sport, challenge or task

Which category do you fall into?

2. Set yourself a goal;

Make sure there is light at the end of the tunnel.

When will you know you have reached your goal? What do you need to do to get there?

If your goal is weight loss, then what is your ideal weight? If you are training for a

specific event, such as a running race, what time or distance do you need to achieve.

If it’s for health reasons, you may wish to reduce your blood pressure or cholesterol.

3. Eat healthy;

Your diet must be specific to your goal and your exercise plan. Make sure you are eating

the right food and at the right times to get the most out of your exercise program.

A poor diet equals low energy and poor performance, ask any successful sports person.

My advice is don’t go on a diet. You’ll just end up hungry, de-motivated and give up.

If weight loss is your goal, then start by making one small but significant change to your

diet every week. For example if you were to cut out 1 tsp of sugar from your 2 cups of tea

or coffee per day, then that’s a saving of 14,500 calories in one year. That amounts to a

loss of over 4lbs of body fat. Do you see where I’m coming from? Small changes can make a big difference when you add them all together.

4. Exercise;

If you are new to exercise and think you don’t have the time, and then make a commitment to start exercising for 5 minutes per day. Do you think you can handle that? Next week, increase it to 10 minutes and so on until you are doing 30 minutes per day. You’ll be amazed how much fitter you are just in that short time.

Choose an exercise activity appropriate to your goal, but make sure it’s a balanced program that covers all the major components of fitness. A balanced exercise program should include; CV training, for aerobic & anaerobic fitness. Resistance training, for muscular endurance, strength and power. Flexibility for range of movement and posture. Balance and coordination.

If you are not sure where to start then consider these;

1. Enjoy what you do

2. Balance your exercise to include CV, Resistance and Flexibility

3. Make your exercise specific to your goal

4. Make it a lifestyle change not a chore

5. Make it challenging, but not impossible

For the best results and to get fitter faster, then consult an exercise professional to

design a program specifically for you.

5. Monitor;

Monitor your progress; it will help to motivate you to stop you losing interest. Once you

see that you are making steady progress towards your goal it will keep you focused.

6. Motivate;

One of the hardest things about starting a new fitness campaign is keeping on track. Try training with a friend or join a club to help keep you interested. Reward yourself every now and then with your favorite meal or treat.

7. Fitness for life;

Don’t just make a commitment to get fit for new year or holiday, make it a lifestyle change. Decide that you are going to make changes for life.

Last but not least if you can get to the point where fitness and healthy living becomes second nature and a natural routine then it’s the unhealthy things that start to become a chore! Remember if you practice anything enough you will do it without thinking about it and this is the state you need to aim for. One day you will come to realize, ‘this fitness stuff isn’t so bad after all’.

Fitness Equipment

By Rachel Rays Gift

fitness

Whether you are involved with running a commercial health club, are an entrepreneurial fitness coach looking to start your own personal training studio, or are a home owner looking to build your home gym with quality equipment, you can get commercial grade exercise machines at a fraction of the cost with refurbished fitness equipment. If you are looking for an all-in-one strength training workout, Weider fitness equipment may be the answer that you have been searching for. If you are in the market for home fitness equipment, you might be surprised by the variety of choices available.

Most fitness equipment that you would expect to find in your local gym or fitness centre can now be purchased for home use depending upon the space you have available and the type of fitness equipment you require. Whatever type of home fitness equipment you choose, the most important thing to do is select something that you will find enjoyable, convenient, and easy to use. With so much to choose from, take the time to consider which type of gym fitness equipment you are most likely to use long-term.

If you are the type of person that prefers using fitness equipment for your exercise routines, here are few tips to consider before purchasing. Some of the types of fitness equipment available for use can be classified according the type of exercise for which they are built. It is true that the world of fitness equipment can seem like a maze at times and that there are literally hundreds of different types of fitness equipment pieces that might work well for your home arrangement.

You can hop right out of bed to go use your home fitness equipment – you do not need to make sure that your hair looks all right, and you do not need to waste time and money driving to the gym. When choosing home fitness exercise equipment, you need to concentrate on the three s-areas: strength training for muscle toning, stretching for flexibility, and sprinting or a related activity for cardiovascular fitness. Cybex fitness equipment includes devices for cardiovascular exercise, as well as strength training.

In addition to the aforementioned strength training units, Weider fitness equipment includes a wide variety of weight benches and weights, exercise mats and other accessories. Well-known companies such as Reebok offer a variety of other tools and props to help you to gain the most from your home fitness exercise equipment. Some of the large manufacturers such as Cybex, offer their own fitness equipment leasing options.

Documentation involved when leasing fitness equipment for the first time, includes filling out a credit application form, copies of tax returns for principals, personal financial statements, equipment listing, and business plan copies. Once a machine is chosen for a home fitness program, keeping motivated will often depend on the equipment’s ability to grow along with you and your own personal attitude. If a piece of fitness equipment is on demo or display at a store, often it is replaced by a new unit and the demo is removed from the sales floor.

For the best results you should choose at least one piece of fitness equipment from both the cardio fitness equipment & the strength fitness equipment, with a home gym being the recommended piece of equipment for the strength work.

Elliptical machines are one of the most popular pieces of home gym and fitness equipment for cardio workouts now available. A common piece of home fitness equipment is the home gym. While in the past it may have been standard advice when purchasing home strength training equipment to buy a multi-station gym, the latest concept in the fitness industry however is functional training and functional training equipment.

Life Fitness offers the T-series as a direct descendant of its commercial model series, starting with the standard quality T3, their ‘benchmark’ value model, and topping out with the Life Fitness T9i, recommended by Health Magazine.

Basic treadmills are included in the T3 series of Life Fitness treadmill models. There are two choices in this category viz the T3 and the T3i. Life Fitness treadmills in the T3 series consist of a 2.5HP motor and supports inclination up to 15%.

Life Fitness treadmills in the T5 series are meant for competitive running. The main difference between a Life Fitness treadmill in the T3 series and the T5 series is that those in the T5 series are capable of speeds up to 12 miles per hour.

The Life Fitness T5 treadmill provides a wide & long walking area and a powerful drive motor. It has a few less programs and a simpler display than the T5i but features the same durable construction throughout.

A Life Fitness treadmill from the T7 line, adds daily training workouts to the package (30-minute walk, 3-mile jog, 45-minute cross-train) and customizable workouts.

Finally, the T9 series of Life Fitness treadmill models additional customizable workouts, speed interval training, pace mode, calories goal, distance goal, and time in zone goal, as well as Life Pulse TM digital heart rate monitoring. The Life Fitness T9i treadmill bears up to 400 pounds weight and features a 5/8 inch 60 x 20 inch belt with cushioned deck, 3.5 inch roller and 4.0HP motor. This treadmill series offers a top speed of 12 MPH, inclines up to 15% and provides readouts/feedbacks. Life Fitness treadmill provides lifetime warranty on frame and shock absorbers, fifteen years warranty on the motor, three years warranty on electrical and mechanical parts and one year warranty on labor. The Life Fitness T9 treadmill series provides a lifetime warranty on the motor and ten years warranty on electrical and mechanical parts.

If users are keeping a close eye on their cardiovascular fitness, the heart monitoring available on a Life Fitness treadmill can’t be bet.

A Life Fitness treadmill might be the best treadmill choice for users. If users are going to use a Life Fitness treadmill, they should make sure that they know what they are doing before using it. Users should always make sure that they are very comfortable walking on their Life Fitness treadmill device before they decide to start running. This is always the case no matter what model or style of Life Fitness treadmill they own.

Before buying a Life Fitness treadmill model users should take a look at the different features that are offered with the treadmill model. Users should make sure that the treadmill motor has a high continuous duty rating and has a long warranty.

Life Fitness treadmills have an excellent life span. Some of the popular discount Life Fitness treadmills are model numbers 5500, 8500 and T3i. Fitness: How to Choose the Right Lifetime Fitness Centre

By Rachel Rays Gift

fitness

In reality, you really do not have to spend a lot of money on expensive health club or fitness centers memberships, treadmills, or the latest fitness gadget to get moving.

However, some people find that if they make a monetary investment, they are more likely to follow through on fitness.

Fitness centers are, basically, built to provide people the proper fitness equipments, trainings, and other devices needed to keep an individual physically fit.

However, not all fitness centers are created equal. In fact, there are fitness centers that require their members to sign some contracts, which in the end will not be easy to cancel. Hence, it is important to know the characteristics of the fitness center that will work best for you.

Here is a list of some tips that you can use:

1. Make your mind up on things that you need

Before you choose a fitness center, you should first know what your needs are as far as physical fitness is concerned. This will determine the kind of fitness center that you will find.

For example, if you are so much into sports fitness rather than the typical physical fitness activities like aerobics, then it would be better to choose a fitness center that has sports facilities and not just treadmills.

2. Do not forget to shop around

It may sound so cliché-ish but it really pays a lot to a person who shops around before deciding on something. Hence, when choosing fitness centers, it is best to do some shopping first and get to compare the prices, charges, and the facilities available in a health club.

In this way, you get to choose the best and yet affordable fitness center you could ever find.

3. Consider your budget

It does not necessarily meant that just because you have plenty of money, you will eventually give in to a fitness center that you have first encountered.

It is best that you have a budget to follow so that you will know where to focus your finances before you decide on signing-up for a fitness center.

Just remember, you want to work out for your body and not working out something that you will soon be in debt just because you forgot to stick to your budget.

4. Know where your money goes

If it makes you sweat and lose those fats and cellulites, fine! Just be sure that whatever kind of fitness center that you have chosen, it is important to know that you get what you have paid for.

5. Be wary of the physical attributes and characteristics of the center that you wish to enroll in.

Make sure that the fitness center that you have chosen is clean, properly ventilated, and complete with all the amenities that you need.

Be sure also that the equipments that the fitness center has a re all in good working condition. Never use fitness equipments that appear to be worn out already. This will only cause more harm than good.

All of these things are boiled down to the fact that a fitness center does not have to be a perfect fitness center. What matters most is that the fitness center that you have chosen is good enough to generate good results in your body.

Total Fitness Starts on the Inside

By Rachel Rays Gift

fitness

Like me, you’re probably tired of giving your hard-earned money to the health insurance companies for family healthcare. You’ve tried the 24 hour fitness clubs, Bally total fitness, fitness books, weight training fitness, treadmill fitness. In your fitness quest, you’ve bought fitness books, used fitness trainers, bought vitamins and fitness equipment. You’ve tried the gym for fitness, home fitness, you’ve done everything you can think of to achieve and maintain your total fitness.Well let me tell you that all the fitness books, health clubs and fitness trainers in the world won’t help you achieve total fitness if they’re not telling you about the importance of cellular health.I’ve discovered a product called MeridiumXN that works at the cellular level. MeridiumXN is marketed and manufactured by BioNovix, Inc., and promises to change the healthcare industry as we know it today.The results that are being reported are phenomenal to say the least. Since using the product I’ve been able to stop taking medicine for high blood pressure and my blood pressure has returned to normal. I’ve gained energy without the jitters that I used to get from energy drinks containing caffeine, and I’m more focused mentally. MeridiumXN has helped to balance my insulin and glucose levels, and I’ve stopped having the symptoms of low sugar between meals. I no longer have achy joints in the morning or exhaustion in the afternoons either.MeridiumXN will not be sold in health food stores, but can only be ordered through a BioNovix, Inc. distributor.I’ve added MeridiumXN to my family healthcare program because I believe that when you want total fitness, you must take the cells in your body into consideration also.I believe in total fitness for everyone. But in our fitness quest at the gym, while building our muscles and our stamina, we’ve managed to pollute our bodies during our workouts. This leads to metabolic stress. Metabolic stress causes actual damage to your cells and tissues, and leads to the breakdown of the metabolic functions that keep you healthy. Metabolic stress also produces more metabolic waste and toxins than your body can rid itself of. Over time, metabolic stress leads to serious health problems.This in turn makes us reliant upon the medical community to treat the symptoms and not the cause. Now, this drives up the cost of healthcare as we are subject to the ever-increasing premiums paid to our health insurance companies. It’s a vicious cycle to say the least. Now, whether you train at a gym for fitness, run for fitness, swim for fitness, no matter what you do in your quest for fitness, I think you’ll agree that if there’s more to be done you’re going to do it! After all, we’re looking for total fitness, and that includes every cell in our bodies.for more information on The Master Molecule you can visit my site: www.health-4-u.org
